Rosie Simpson
Leadership Council and Adult EducatorA woman of many roles and deep wisdom, Rosie is a former Waldorf Class Teacher, Principal, and lifelong educator. She brings grace, insight, and lived experience to every workshop she leads at Taruna, offering spaces of connection, reflection, and genuine human warmth. Rosie embodies the values and grounded presence of Taruna, which ripple out into the wider community.
Lauren Hudson
Leadership Council and Adult EducatorA strong voice and anchor within the Taruna team. As a parent in the local Waldorf community and a leader with a background in Organisational Development, Lauren brings clarity, strategy, and momentum. She moves with purpose and helps bring Taruna’s initiatives to life with her leadership and vision.
Deb Bednarek
Leadership Council, Anthroposophical Nurse and Adult EducatorA long-standing member of the Waldorf community, Deb raised her own children within the Waldorf education and continues to give back through her work in Anthroposophical Nursing. Her commitment to nurturing the next generation of nurses comes through in her warmth, steadiness, and the caring “hands-on” support she offers to everyone around her.
Charmaine Wilson
Administration and Leadership CouncilThe quiet rhythm-keeper of Taruna. Charmaine holds the administrative heartbeat that keeps everything flowing - managing countless details, tasks, and behind-the-scenes needs with calm reliability. Her work is the invisible thread that allows the rest of Taruna to stand strong.
Communications & Creative LeadBritt serves as Taruna’s Communications and Creative Lead, representing a new generation shaped by teaching, modern parenting, and strong community connection. Through her close relationships with local kindergartens and schools, she brings creativity, enthusiasm, and a heartfelt dedication to supporting families to access Waldorf-inspired wisdom in ways that feel contemporary, meaningful, and alive.
